Congratulations to the 2005 FBR-Phoenix Open Champion Phil Mickelson! Congratulations to the Thunderbirds (sponsoring organization) and fans for putting on a fine show! What a Great Open!

The Bobby Beynon Memorial Golf Tournament has many connections to the Phoenix Open. Phil's alma mata (ASU) course, is also the home of The Bobby Beynon Memorial Golf Tournament. Our Chairman Mike Reina is a Thunderbird. Many of you may not know just how many Thunderbirds play in and contribute to our tournament. Bobby Beynon tournament players that are also Thunderbirds include John Maus, Greg Mast, Mike Piazza, Mike Sheedy, John Felix, Paul Bruns, Rob Harris, Chad Clark, Doug Ducey, and Pete Kuehner.

Other Thunderbirds that contribute are Del Cochran, Pat McGinley, Dave Gilbertson, Sean Cunningham, Greg Hoyt, Bryon Carney, Taber Anderson, and Guy Inzalaco.

If we missed you, then sorry...though if so, let us know...and you get a free sleeve of balls at next years tournament :)

At the Members tents and the Greenskeeper many of the regular Bobby Beynon players were seen. We look forward to seeing all of you on November 11, 2005 at the the 2005 Bobby Beynon Memorial Golf Tournament.
